Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms
By creating an account or using MakeFit AI, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you're using MakeFit AI on behalf of a company, you're confirming you have authority to bind that company to these terms.
2. The service
MakeFit AI is a software platform that generates AI-assisted garment manufacturing readiness reports (“Garment DNA Reports”) from specifications you provide, alongside tools to grade sizes, export reports, and share them with third parties. “MakeFit AI” is a trading name of Wegox Global Limited, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 16580618, registered office at 71–75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, United Kingdom, WC2H 9JQ— that is the entity you are contracting with under these terms.
3. Accounts
- You must provide accurate account information and keep it up to date.
- You're responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your sign-in access secure.
- MakeFit AI is intended for business use by apparel industry professionals, not consumers.
4. Reports are estimates, not guarantees
Garment DNA Reports are analytical estimates generated from the information you provide, combined with AI-assisted modelling and general industry benchmarks. They are not a guarantee of manufacturing outcomes, fit, fabric behaviour, durability, or compliance status. Risk scores, fit predictions, shrinkage forecasts, and compliance notes are decision-support information, not certified test results or a substitute for physical sample testing, professional pattern grading, or formal compliance certification.
You remain responsible for validating any garment specification through physical sampling and testing before committing to production, and for your own compliance with applicable regulations. MakeFit AI is not liable for manufacturing, financial, or reputational losses arising from decisions made in reliance on a report, to the extent permitted by law (see “Limitation of liability” below).
5. Subscriptions, billing & cancellation
Plans.We offer a free tier (limited lifetime reports) and three paid tiers — Readiness Essentials, Production Pro, and Manufacturer Governance — each with different monthly report allowances and features, as described on our Pricing page.
Billing. Paid plans can be billed monthly or annually in advance via Stripe, and renew automatically until cancelled. Annual plans are billed once a year at a discount to the monthly rate. We are not currently VAT-registered, so prices shown are the full amount charged, with no VAT added at checkout.
Cancellation & refunds
Within 14 days of any payment (monthly or annual). UK law gives you a 14-day cooling-off period on any purchase made online. To cancel within this window, email hello@makefitai.co.uk — we handle these manually rather than through a self-serve button, since a refund amount needs calculating. You'll receive a pro-rata refund for the unused portion of your payment, with no cancellation fee.
Monthly plans, after 14 days.Cancel anytime from Settings → Manage billing. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you keep full access until then, and there's no refund for the remaining period and no cancellation fee.
Annual plans, after 14 days.Annual cancellations outside the cooling-off period aren't self-serve — email hello@makefitai.co.ukand we'll process it manually. You'll receive a pro-rata refund for the unused portion of your current annual term, less a £20 cancellation fee. Your subscription is cancelled and your account moves to the Free tier once the refund is processed.
Payment failure.If a payment fails, we'll notify you and attempt to collect payment again per Stripe's standard retry schedule. Your account moves to a “past due” status during this window — report generation remains available — and will be restricted only if the subscription is ultimately cancelled or marked unpaid.
Card details.We never receive or store your card number, expiry date, or CVC. All card data is entered directly into Stripe's own checkout and billing portal interfaces.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law: MakeFit AI is provided “as is.” We exclude all warranties not expressly stated in these terms. Our total liability to you arising out of or in connection with the service, whether in contract, tort, or otherwise, is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special losses, including lost profits, lost production, or reputational harm.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under UK law.
7. Acceptable use
- Don't attempt to circumvent report limits, rate limits, or tier restrictions.
- Don't reverse-engineer, scrape, or attempt to extract our underlying models or source code.
- Don't use the service for unlawful purposes, or upload specifications or data you don't have the rights to use.
- Don't attempt to access another account's data or share links you weren't given.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section.
8. Intellectual property
You own the garment specifications you input and the reports generated from them. We own the MakeFit AI platform, software, and branding. Using the service doesn't grant you any rights to our underlying technology.
9. Termination
You may stop using the service and cancel your subscription at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account for breach of these terms, non-payment, or unlawful use. On termination, your right to access the service ends; data retention/deletion follows our Privacy Policy.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We'll post changes here and update the effective date above; for material changes, we'll notify account holders directly.
